Doctoral Studies in Gerontology

CRSCAD’s research interests include various aspects of Disaster Studies (Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, Recovery Planning, and, Post-Disaster reconstruction) as well as the role of human dignity in rebuilding sustainable communities after disasters; Sustainable community-based planning; International development planning; Housing Policy; Housing design and cultural values; and, People-Environment relations.

Members of CRSCAD may, therefore, serve as doctoral dissertation committee members of Gerontology dissertations. Similarly, Gerontology students may be able to identify research opportunities within CRSCAD.
