Mary Krebs is a PhD candidate in the interdisciplinary Public Policy doctoral program at UMass Boston. She completed her MS in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston and her MPPM in Public Policy from the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service. Her applied qualitative and quantitative research explores social and demographic access to health and community with a specific focus on the challenges of acceptance and use of mHealth and eHealth by older adults and vulnerable populations. Mary also serves as faculty teaching graduate-level research methods at the University of New England. Prior to joining the UMass Boston's Center for Social and Demographic Research on Aging, she was the Deputy Director for the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers where she lobbied on behalf of social justice policy for at-risk populations. Mary is interested in the analysis and evaluation of programs and policies affecting older adults. She is currently completing her dissertation at UMass Boston.
