University Health Services Administration
University Health Services' administrative and professional staff collaborate and consult with the university community and senior administration in the areas of crisis management, pandemic, and infection control, disease and injury prevention, health promotion, and international health. UHS is the liaison between local and state health departments and the university regarding compliance with student immunizations, as well as campus communicable disease exposure follow-up and control. UHS administrators influence university-wide policy and advocate for the overall health and well-being of the campus community.
In order to accomplish this, UHS professional staff occupy positions on university-wide committees and task forces, and the Executive Director advises and consults with senior university leadership and others on health-related issues affecting the campus.
